Nursery Planning

Now that we know we're having a boy, I can start planning the nursery!! I am so excited to put Foster's room together. We're doing a woodland themed nursery - think owls, foxes, deer, squirrels, bears, OH MY! I'm in love with the crib I found and I'm reeeally wanting the linen bedding from Restoration Hardware *fingers crossed* it goes on sale at some point or else I'll never be able to get it! I've been looking on Etsy too but of course can't find anything I love as much. We already have a canoe bookshelf from my Grandmother & Bobba like the one in the picture below. I can't wait to reveal the nursery once we have it finished!!
crib / bedding / mobile / pillow / stacking blocks / fox print / squirrel clock / wood slice / love you print

Now - a question for all of you mamas out there - what other items are MUST HAVES for the nursery? What are your favorite products??

  2. Must haves specifically for the nursery... hmm...

Honestly there probably aren't "MUST" haves for the nursery. I know a mama who plans on just having a pack n' play! But I would recommend a glider. Especially for when you are nursing/feeding or in my case, rocking a teething little one at 4 am.

  3. Our number one for the nursery is more of a diapering must have but it's these super absorbent changing table pads at Target.com (here's the link http://www.target.com/p/jumbo-waterproof-pads-4-pk/-/A-10366209#prodSlot=medium_1_4 ) They are great for the first couple of months where your little one will just pee pretty much every time their diaper is off, at least that's what our daughter did. We're buying more for this baby so that I can have one underneath him and one at an arms reach if he starts peeing everywhere. There really isn't much else besides a crib I could think of as a necessity. Our nursery didn't get used much until my daughter was older.
